FBI Director Kash Patel and country music singer and political commentator Alexis Wilkins announced their engagement on October 4, 2026. The couple shared the news via social media using a black-and-white photograph.

Wilkins, 27, has been a public supporter of Patel, notably attending his swearing-in ceremony in early 2025. The pair reportedly met in Nashville and began dating in early 2023.

Reports regarding the engagement also noted ongoing scrutiny concerning Patel’s use of government resources. Critics have questioned his use of FBI aircraft for trips without clear law enforcement purposes, such as a flight to Pennsylvania for a professional wrestling event where Wilkins performed. Patel has defended his actions and dismissed criticisms of Wilkins as “disgustingly baseless.”
