Witnesses at the trial described Chowdhury’s work performance as “very poor,” noting his failure to attend virtual meetings and struggles with basic tasks. It is alleged he used sick leave and claims of caring for an elderly mother to manage his overlapping roles. 

New details have emerged regarding how the fraud was reportedly uncovered. During a video conference, a manager allegedly noticed a discrepancy in Chowdhury’s appearance. It is claimed he had applied white makeup to his face to appear pale and ill, but the makeup began to dissolve during the meeting, revealing a color mismatch between his face and neck. Chowdhury denies all charges.
