The Kefalonian community in Greece held religious commemorations for Saint Gerasimos, the patron saint of Kefalonia.

On October 18, the Association of Kefalonians and Ithacians of Kifisia and Northern Suburbs conducted an annual service at the Panagia Eleftherotria Sanctuary in Kifisia. The ceremony featured traditional Kefalonian hymns and honored the historical ties between the community and the sanctuary.

On October 20, the feast day was observed by the Holy Metropolis of Patras at the parish church established by the Kefalonian community in Patras. The celebrations included Great Panegyrical Vespers led by Bishop Chrysanthos of Kernitsi and a Divine Liturgy presided over by Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Patras. The services focused on the life, teachings, and incorrupt relics of Saint Gerasimos.
