The City of Kelowna has announced a competitive bidding process to determine the future management and operation of the H2O Adventure and Fitness Centre. The city will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify an operating model that offers the best community benefit and value.

The facility has been managed by the YMCA of Southern Interior BC since 2009. While the current partnership is scheduled to continue through 2028, the YMCA remains eligible to submit a proposal to maintain its operations at the center. The YMCA has expressed its intention to submit a proposal to continue operations.
