Ecuadorian midfielder Kendry Páez has faced significant professional setbacks at Chelsea. Following an early termination of a loan spell at River Plate, the 19-year-old was relegated to Chelsea’s Under-21 development squad. Manager Xabi Alonso indicated that Páez was not part of the first-team plans, noting his lack of consistent playing time at the elite level.
