The Kentuck Festival, an annual celebration of art and culture in Tuscaloosa and West Alabama, has established itself as a globally recognized event characterized by a highly competitive application process for artists.

As the festival returns to Tuscaloosa, it is expected to drive economic benefits and regional exposure by attracting hundreds of artists and thousands of attendees. Alongside the main festival, the Arts Council of Tuscaloosa is scheduled to host ‘Forget Me Knots,’ a multimedia exhibition by University of Alabama student Rose Kimbrough. This exhibition, which runs from November 6 through December 16, 2026, utilizes recycled and rescued materials to explore the relationship between memory and physical locations.
