The Kenya Ministry of Defence has undertaken initiatives to improve the management of public assets and liabilities. Through a sensitization programme facilitated by the National Treasury, members of the Ministry’s Assets Management Standing Committee received training to strengthen accountability and ensure the prudent use of public resources. 

Led by Secretary Administration Isaac Masinde and National Treasury officials, the programme aimed to align internal ministry systems with national standards and established guidelines to enhance institutional oversight and service delivery.
