An 11-month-old baby named Noah was kidnapped at gunpoint from a park in Firmino Alves, Bahia. Following the abduction, police rescued the child in a beach hut in Ilhéus, noting that he appeared to have been sedated and his hair darkened in an attempt to alter his appearance. Two suspects were arrested in Ibicuí while driving a vehicle matching the description of the one used in the crime; police seized a revolver and infant supplies during the arrest.

The investigation expanded after an arson attack occurred at a residence in Vitória da Conquista used by a kidnapping suspect. During forensic examinations of the burned property, investigators discovered human remains. While the origin of the bones is currently unclarified, authorities are investigating whether they were removed from a cemetery for religious rituals. The child has since been reunited with his family.
