Kinetics has announced plans to convert the LNG carrier Arctic Voyager into a Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) to be renamed LNGT Akdeniz. The vessel is expected to be delivered in the third quarter of 2028, featuring a storage capacity of approximately 143,000 cubic meters and a regasification flow rate of 650 million standard cubic feet per day.

Seatrium Limited and Karpowership have identified this as their ninth FSRU conversion project, continuing a partnership that has delivered seven FSRUs since 2018. The LNGT Akdeniz will join the Kinetics fleet, which is Karpowership’s energy transition initiative. The project follows the delivery of the LNGT Türkiye and the ongoing conversion of the LNGT Karadeniz.
