Australian band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard has announced a series of tour dates across the United Kingdom and Europe for mid-2027, including appearances at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and a headline performance at Bristol Sounds. Alongside this announcement, the group made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 through a contribution to the song ‘Flower in a Hurricane’ by Justice, featured on the Grand Theft Auto VI soundtrack.

Following these developments, the band released its 28th studio album, ‘Alien Metal’. The album represents a stylistic shift toward a fully electronic sound using heavy beats and synthesizers. To support the new material, the group scheduled a performance in Bologna, Italy, for June 11, 2027.
