Gothic folk singer-songwriter Kira McSpice announced her upcoming album, ‘The House’, which is the third installment in her four-part series, ‘A Return in 4 Parts’. The project, scheduled for release on October 23 via Danger Collective, was inspired by a spiritual journey involving hypnotherapy and themes of revisiting her childhood in Harlem, Georgia.

Following the initial announcement and the release of the lead single ‘Return’, which explores grief and memory, McSpice released a second single titled ‘Wreckage’. Described as a dark chamber folk ballad and requiem, ‘Wreckage’ utilizes operatic vocals and a ghostly choir to address themes of domestic conflict, abuse, and the loss of a childhood friend.
