A series of kitesurfing events are scheduled for late 2026 in Northeast Brazil, particularly in the state of Ceará.

Additionally, the Sertões Kitesurfe 2026 is scheduled for November 25 to 28, spanning the municipalities of Touros, Rio Grande do Norte, and Fortim, Ceará. These events highlight the region's growing sports tourism sector, with wind season in Ceará projected to generate R$ 1.66 billion in economic movement in 2026.
