The Kleist Forum has announced its 2026/27 theater season, which is expected to include approximately 200 performances featuring more than 1,500 artists. Artistic Director Florian Vogel noted that the season will begin with a theater festival in Frankfurt (Oder) on September 12.

Planned highlights include several premieres, such as a Frankfurt premiere of ‘Debritz’ and a new adaptation of the ‘Oresteia’. The season will also feature productions examining the works of Heinrich von Kleist, including ‘Kätzchen Käthchen’. Additionally, the ‘Bürgerbühne’ will mark its tenth anniversary in October by restaging the 2027 production ‘Halbleiter – Kinder machen Neues’ with its original cast.
