Kofola has expanded its business operations through strategic acquisitions and strong financial performance in 2026.

In late August, the beverage group acquired a 52% majority stake in the Ostrava-based coffee chain CØKAFE to complete its vertical integration. By early September, Kofola reported a 10.2% increase in total revenues for the first half of 2026, reaching 5.58 billion CZK. While net profit declined to 132 million CZK from 148 million CZK the previous year, EBITDA grew by 16% to 782 million CZK. Growth was driven by the non-alcoholic beverage segment in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as the Adriatic division, which benefited from an early tourist season in Slovenia and Croatia. The company managed to offset rising raw material costs, such as fuel and plastics, through operational efficiency and early stockpiling.

Following strong second-quarter performance, CFO Martin Pisklák indicated that the company aims to reach the upper end of its full-year EBITDA guidance, targeting 1,850–1,900 million CZK. Management remains cautious regarding input cost risks linked to instability in the Strait of Hormuz.

Further expansion includes the completed acquisition of mineral water producer BHMW, where Kofola expects synergies with its Leros herbal tea segment. Regarding shareholder returns, the CFO noted that the current dividend policy of approximately 300 million CZK serves as a lower limit, with no intention to reduce the previous dividend of 21 CZK per share if EBITDA targets are met. Additionally, the UGO segment plans to add new locations in the Czech Republic this year, with international expansion projected for 2027.
