During a recent episode, host Denis Brogniart took the unprecedented step of temporarily leaving the yellow tribe during a council meeting to encourage spontaneous dialogue among contestants. This unplanned move resulted in the elimination of tribe captain Charlotte. Production has also defended the ‘île des bannis’ (island of the banished) mechanic against criticisms from viewers and former contestants, such as Claude Dartois, who argued the feature devalues strategic stakes. Producer Julien Magne countered that the mechanic remains a high-risk element for participants. The series is now approaching the ‘Reunification’ stage, which will feature a new format involving two surprise councils and no ambassadors to force rapid decision-making as contestants move to individual play. Separately, reports indicate significant financial growth for Denis Brogniart’s private company, Denis Brogniart Communication, which saw profits reach approximately 1.2 million euros in 2021. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-06: Denis Brogniart and Koh-Lanta All Stars reach key milestones As ‘Koh-Lanta All Stars’ prepares for an unprecedented ‘Reunification’ episode, host Denis Brogniart’s private communication firm reports significant revenue growth and million-euro profits. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/denis-brogniart-and-koh-lanta-all-stars-reach-key-milestones ### 2026-09-28: Koh-Lanta host Denis Brogniart leaves council during unprecedented segment Koh-Lanta producer Julien Magne defends the show's mechanics following host Denis Brogniart's unprecedented mid-council departure and criticism of the 'island of the banished' feature. 7 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/koh-lanta-host-denis-brogniart-leaves-council-during-unprecedented-segment --- Cite as: Koh-Lanta All Stars production and host developments.
