Sony Marathi announced the upcoming eighth season of the quiz show ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’, hosted by Madhuri Dixit. A notable feature of the new season is the partnership with OpenAI, with ChatGPT serving as a co-presenting sponsor. This integration includes ‘Vichaar Saathi’, a feature intended to assist viewers with knowledge expansion within Marathi linguistic and cultural contexts.

The season premiered on October 12, 2026. The premiere episode featured actress Sonali Bendre as a special guest, appearing alongside Dixit for the first time. Bendre joined the program following the death of veteran actor Nana Patekar, who had been scheduled to appear but passed away from cardiac arrest on October 8, 2026.
