Konami Digital Entertainment has announced details for the eFootball Championship 2027, the official esports tournament for its football simulation title. The upcoming season features an expanded competitive structure and a prize pool that has tripled from 100,000 USD to 300,000 USD.

Qualification for the World Finals, scheduled for summer 2027, has increased from 16 to 24 participants in both the Console and Mobile divisions. Players can compete through three primary pathways: the Club Event, involving partner clubs such as FC Barcelona and Manchester United; the Open event for global participants; and new regional Local Events that offer direct qualification to the finals.

The season began with a tournament for the FC Internazionale Milano representative. Winners of the Club Finals are also set to receive an exclusive Club Tour, which includes stadium visits and official match attendance.
