Following the success of his album ‘Kampanes’, which became the first Greek-language album to enter the Billboard Top World Albums and Top Album Sales charts, Argyros launched a campaign for Grammy consideration in the ‘Best Global Music Album’ and ‘Best Global Music Performance’ categories. His international tour included a sold-out performance in Boston before scheduled appearances in Brussels and Athens. However, Argyros later faced social media backlash and criticism from presenter Natalia Germanou regarding a promotional video filmed at the Eiffel Tower. The video, intended to promote a concert at La Seine Musicale, was released during a period of violent unrest and protests in Paris concerning the cost of living. Critics questioned the singer’s lack of empathy and whether his management should have advised him to acknowledge the local crisis while promoting commercial activities. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-18: Konstantinos Argyros faces criticism over Paris promotional video Singer Konstantinos Argyros faces criticism for posting promotional content in Paris amid violent local protests, prompting calls for greater empathy from media personality Natalia Germanou. 7 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/konstantinos-argyros-faces-criticism-over-paris-promotional-video ### 2026-10-13: Konstantinos Argyros pursues Grammy consideration following US success Greek singer Konstantinos Argyros is launching a Grammy consideration campaign for his album ‘Kampanes’ following a successful sold-out concert in Boston. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/konstantinos-argyros-pursues-grammy-consideration-following-us-success --- Cite as: Konstantinos Argyros international career developments.
