Seven key players of the Kosovo national football team have initiated a boycott of the squad to protest the leadership of Kosovo Football Federation president Agim Ademi. Led by captain Amir Rrahmani, the movement includes prominent players such as Edon Zhegrova, Vedat Muriqi, and Milot Rashica.

The boycott has significantly weakened the roster ahead of upcoming Nations League matches against Austria, Israel, and Ireland, reflecting a breakdown in trust between the players and federation leadership.
