Kosovo health officials have announced plans to reinstate nationwide 24-hour on-call pharmacy services. Following a period of more than two years without nighttime pharmacy services in Pristina, the director of health, Bujar Gashi, stated that the service will be restored through an amendment to Law 11/2015.

The Kosovo Chamber of Pharmacists is collaborating with the Ministry of Health to draft a nationwide on-call schedule. This amendment is expected to be finalized by mid-August, with implementation following approximately one month later. The Chamber reports that 97% of pharmacists support the new schedule.
