The Ministry of Education in Kosovo issued a final deadline for parents and legal guardians to apply for school textbook and material subsidies via the eKosova platform. The application period was extended from its original August 9 deadline following requests from parents.

As of mid-August, over 181,500 applications had been submitted. Of these, 95,388 were approved, 96,098 were being processed, and 710 were rejected. Anita Kadriu, Director of the Pre-University Education Department, stated that school coordinators verify applications to prevent misuse and ensure students are properly registered. A total of 14 million euros has been allocated for this scheme, with the goal of distributing funds before the school year begins on September 1.
