Sources: 6. Developments: 2. Public tension arose between Kourtney Kardashian and actress Jennifer Lawrence following remarks made by Lawrence during a Vanity Fair lie detector test. Lawrence described Kardashian as “more annoying than ever” and criticized her habit of making announcements about mundane life details. In the Hulu series ‘The Kardashians’, the friction was highlighted as Kourtney expressed intense frustration on camera. While Lawrence reportedly sent a reconciliatory email to the Kardashian family expressing a sense of closeness, the reaction within the family was mixed. Kim Kardashian was reportedly displeased with Kourtney’s aggressive response to the comments. Kourtney later addressed the situation, noting that while rewatching the footage made the remarks seem less severe, the timing was difficult as she felt she was being “ganged up on” during a sensitive week for the show. Kourtney eventually responded to the perceived sisterhood with humor, joking that she was ready to treat Lawrence with the same confrontational manner she uses with Kim Kardashian. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-17: Kourtney Kardashian discusses personal anecdotes and family tensions Kourtney Kardashian discusses past driving mishaps and recent tensions with sister Kim Kardashian following a viral interaction involving Jennifer Lawrence on ‘The Kardashians’. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/kourtney-kardashian-discusses-personal-anecdotes-and-family-tensions ### 2026-10-08: Kourtney Kardashian responds to Jennifer Lawrence remarks Kourtney Kardashian addressed Jennifer Lawrence’s past criticisms and subsequent reconciliatory outreach, noting that the timing of the remarks made her feel vulnerable during a sensitive period. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/kourtney-kardashian-responds-to-jennifer-lawrence-remarks --- Cite as: Kourtney Kardashian and Jennifer Lawrence friction.
