Following municipal elections in Kutná Hora, the winning group, Naší Kutná Hora, secured 13 of the 27 available seats. This leaves the group one seat short of the 14-vote threshold required for a majority.

Negotiations to form a governing coalition have reached a stalemate. Lukáš Seifert, the leader of Naší Kutná Hora and current mayor, indicated that demands from certain groups for council representation do not align with election results. Seifert noted that an emergency solution may be necessary if a coalition cannot be reached, potentially leading to a minority council.

The inaugural city council meeting is scheduled for November 3, 2026, to swear in representatives and elect city leadership.
