Kyoto City and the Kyoto Traditional Industry Exchange Center have announced a series of traditional craft workshops for children titled ‘Experience, See, and Feel the Skills of Kyoto’s Artisans!’. Supported by the Nissin Electric Group Social Contribution Fund, the program aims to foster future craft practitioners through hands-on sessions. 

Scheduled activities include Kyo-shippo (cloisonné) in September 2026 and metalwork (kazari-kanagu) in October 2026, where students will work with professional artisans to create items such as pendants and silver rings.
