The La Palma Island Emergency Plan (Peinpal) has authorized a new residence on the Rosana Simón promenade after carbon dioxide measurements confirmed the property meets safety conditions. This authorization is part of an ongoing process involving individualized monitoring and a surveillance system of 1,600 sensors and 220 outdoor meters to monitor gas levels. In addition to residential recovery, the Los Llanos de Aridane City Council has approved the transfer of a municipal building to the Canary Islands Health Service.
