The 2026 season of the Spanish talent competition ‘La Voz’ has launched with its blind audition phase. The coaching panel includes Pablo López, Melendi, Lola Índigo, and Mika.

Initial episodes featured the premiere of a collaborative song, ‘102 segundos’, and saw coaches utilizing strategic maneuvers such as ‘superblocks’ and ‘megablocks’ to recruit contestants. Melendi used the launch to defend the emotional intensity of the coaching role following previous controversies involving Dani Martín.

As auditions progressed, strategic battles intensified between coaches. Lola Índigo emerged as a highly successful recruiter, notably securing Irene—a former ‘La Voz Kids’ finalist—after a series of strategic counter-moves involving Pablo López and Melendi. Other coaches, including Mika and Pablo López, also employed blocking tactics to build their respective teams.
