The 14th edition of LABITCONF, the Latin American Bitcoin and Blockchain Conference, is scheduled for October 30 and 31, 2026, in Buenos Aires. The event is part of the city’s Tecweek technology festival and is expected to feature over 200 talks and 150 speakers.

Key programming includes a keynote by Saifedean Ammous, a debate regarding the future of the Argentine Central Bank, and the unveiling of Latin America’s first monument dedicated to Satoshi Nakamoto. The agenda also covers artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and market analysis.

Organizers and industry experts note a shift in the sector from hobbyist interest toward institutional use. Experts highlighted that institutional capital is entering the market through exposure to cryptocurrencies and the adoption of stablecoins to diversify and lower transaction costs.
