These include the ‘Peneios – The River Within Us’ project, which utilized new laboratory equipment to support students in applied arts specialties through works inspired by the Peneios River. Educational discussions in the region have also addressed the needs of school units in Elassona, focusing on potential collaborations such as civil protection programs and first aid training seminars. Expanding on these social and educational efforts, Larissa is set to host an international workshop for Roma youth titled “4. 5 Roma Peer Facilitators.” This European Union co-funded initiative, part of the “Voices Unheard” project, aims to empower children from Germany, Greece, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ukraine.
