Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has expanded its involvement in Indian infrastructure through both technological partnerships and large-scale construction contracts.

In mid-October, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TuTr Hyperloop Private Ltd to develop next-generation mobility infrastructure. This collaboration focuses on integrating L&T’s engineering and construction capabilities with TuTr Hyperloop’s expertise in electromagnetic propulsion and vacuum tube systems for passenger and freight applications.

By late October, L&T secured two major construction projects. In New Delhi, the company was commissioned by the Central Public Works Department to build Common Central Secretariat buildings 4 and 5. Additionally, in Andhra Pradesh, L&T received a design-and-build contract to construct two 47-storey office towers near the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre to support the region’s development as a technology hub.
