Various jazz musical events and milestones have been announced across Latin America. In Peru, the ensemble Perujazz scheduled a farewell concert titled ‘Perujazz – 40 años de fusión viva’ for October 15 to mark the end of its artistic cycle. In Argentina, the vocal trio Java Queens announced a performance on October 3 to celebrate 10 years of music, while El Quinteto de Jazz Casimiro scheduled a performance for October 23.

Looking toward 2027, the 42nd Jazz Plaza International Festival will expand its reach. The festival is set to take place from January 24 to 31, spreading across six Cuban provinces and nearly 20 venues in Havana. Notably, the festival will host its first international sub-venue in Mexico City. Despite economic and energy challenges, organizers reported that over 120 American artists have committed to the event, which will feature tributes to Bola de Nieve and Chepín-Chovén.
