The Launceston rugby team has experienced a period of competitive activity across different divisions. In Counties Two Cornwall, the Launceston Castles secured a 68-6 victory over the Newquay Hornets, highlighted by ten tries and nine conversions from Albie Newton.

Transitioning to the Regional One South West division, the squad is preparing for a Cornish derby against St Austell. This follows a 38-31 win against Brixham. Head coach Steve Perry intends to use past losses to St Austell as motivation, noting that the squad will see minimal changes, though former skipper Tom Sandercock has returned to the bench.
