In August 2026, multiple trading platforms introduced XAUUSD247, a gold Contract for Difference (CFD) product designed to allow continuous trading during weekends and market holidays.

VT Markets launched the product on 5 August 2026, featuring a single-sided margin model and a minimum trade size of 1 ounce. The offering, part of its ‘Bold as Gold’ campaign, is available via the VT Markets app and MT5 platform. 

Following this, STARTRADER announced its own XAUUSD247 launch, scheduled for availability on MetaTrader 5 starting 21 August 2026. The firm stated the initiative aims to address market volatility stemming from geopolitical developments and central bank decisions that occur outside standard trading hours.
