Red Bull Racing has officially extended the contract of CEO and Team Principal Laurent Mekies through the end of the 2031 season. The announcement follows a period of transition for the Milton Keynes-based team after Mekies assumed leadership in July 2025 following the departure of Christian Horner.

Shareholders and management credited Mekies with successfully guiding the organization through a critical period, including the team’s first season as a power unit manufacturer. The decision to provide long-term stability comes amid recent competitive successes, such as victories by Max Verstappen in Malaysia and Singapore.
