Albanian authorities conducted a law enforcement operation codenamed ‘Borders’ in the village of Drenovë, Korçë. During the operation, police arrested a 27-year-old man caught transporting 11 migrants—ten from Bangladesh and one from Pakistan—toward Shkodër. 

The group had reportedly entered Albania illegally via Kapshtica and was attempting to reach the Montenegrin border. Police seized the vehicle used in the transport and a mobile phone, while investigations continue to locate two suspected accomplices involved in the smuggling operation.
