In mid-August, the region experienced various service disruptions, including motorway barrier requalification on the A24, the closure of the Lepanto metro station in Rome, and total service interruptions on the urban stretch of the Roma-Viterbo railway due to substation maintenance. 

By mid-September, the focus shifted toward structural reorganization with the planned launch of the UdR 1 Tirreno Nord transport network. This initiative aims to integrate urban, extra-urban, and rail connections across 21 municipalities, including the Rome metropolitan area, Viterbo, Civitavecchia, Santa Marinella, Fiumicino, and Bracciano, to better coordinate commuter and student movement.
