The Lazio region is managing significant financial and legal matters. The regional administration is preparing a legal appeal against a Council of State ruling regarding the San Raffaele hospital. While the region plans to pay the undisputed portion of a compensation ruling—estimated at approximately 60 million euros plus interest—it is seeking clarification on interest calculations. To ensure coverage, the government has proposed a budget of 82 million euros drawn from the National Health Fund.

Separately, the region has announced a 200 million euro allocation for university scholarships, the highest level in its history. While this provides economic support for families, regional representatives have noted that further structural improvements to transportation and student housing are necessary to support provincial university hubs.
