NBA player LeBron James is auctioning a custom Mercedes-Maybach S 680 to benefit the LeBron James Family Foundation. The auction is scheduled for November 20 and 21, 2026, at the Javits Center in New York as part of the Retromobile New York event.

The vehicle is a near-identical twin to a personalized sedan James commissioned through the Mercedes-Benz ‘MANUFAKTUR Made to Measure’ program. While James is retaining his original model, this second vehicle was created in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz to raise funds for the ‘I PROMISE’ program, which provides educational, housing, and healthcare resources to students and families in Akron, Ohio.

Custom features of the car include light-ivory paint, blue or ‘Stormy Weather’ Nappa leather, and James’s signature on various interior components. Unique modifications include a custom crown logo replacing the traditional V12 emblem and the geographic coordinates of Akron inscribed on the center console.
