Lecce is utilizing the international break to prepare for upcoming Serie A fixtures and address squad performance. Manager Eusebio Di Francesco has scheduled a friendly against Altamura to evaluate team balance and maintain match fitness, particularly as several players are away on international duty.

The club is focusing on integrating new signings and managing player recoveries, such as Willem Geubbels. While individual players like Ivan Ilić have shown strong form, the team is also working to overcome offensive challenges, as the forwards have yet to score this season.

Following the international break, Lecce is preparing for a home match against Bologna. The club aims to regain momentum after a recent loss to Milan. The upcoming fixture presents challenges for both sides; while Lecce continues to struggle with offensive output, Bologna is facing squad depth issues due to injuries to Emil Holm and Jens Odgaard.
