Lefke European University (LAÜ) has achieved institutional accreditation from the Germany-based Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programmes (AQAS). 

The accreditation, which is valid until 2032, follows a multi-year effort to align the university with the standards of the European Higher Education Area. The process involved evaluating curricula, faculty selection, student learning outcomes, and research opportunities. 

University leadership noted that the achievement reflects a commitment to establishing a management culture centered on continuous improvement and institutional rules rather than individual discretion.
