Lehigh University men’s soccer has maintained a defensive focus through several matches. In early September, the team played to a 0-0 draw against the UMBC Retrievers, a match characterized as a “defensive battle” where Lehigh goalkeeper Anton Kinnunen recorded three saves to secure a shutout.

By late September, Lehigh extended its defensive streak, recording its fifth consecutive shutout following a 0-0 draw against the Columbia Lions. Despite being outshot 7-2 in the first half of that match, the team improved its offensive pressure in the second half and Kinnunen recorded four saves to preserve the tie.
