Separately, a major redevelopment is underway at Gottschedstraße 16 to create the ‘Haus der Festivals’. This approximately 17.33 million euro project intends to centralize several prominent cultural festivals by providing modern office and conference spaces. The site will feature a modernized multifunctional event hall, with Jazzclub Leipzig e. V. serving as the primary tenant to transform the space into a year-round venue.
