The Diputación de León has finalized preparations for the 2026/2027 winter season at the San Isidro and Valle Laciana-Leitariegos ski resorts. The seasonal calendar outlines up to 125 days of activity between December 1, 2026, and April 4, 2027, though operations depend on weather and snow quality.

In addition to the general seasonal schedule, authorities approved the 2027 Snow Campaign to promote winter sports among students. This initiative has a budget of 682,891 euros, an increase from the previous campaign. The program includes ‘Escuelas de Invierno’ (Winter Schools) and ‘Un día en la nieve’ (A day in the snow), offering various modalities for students, with a preference for those from municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants.
