Leonel Jaime, a 20-year-old forward on loan from River Plate to Peñarol, has secured his stay with the Uruguayan club until June 2027. 

Under the terms of the loan agreement, River Plate held a clause to recall the player this December if he played fewer than 360 minutes. However, Jaime’s performances, including scoring and assisting in matches against Central Español and Albion, allowed him to surpass this threshold.
