Leyma Básquet Coruña began its season with a formal presentation of its new squad and kits at Marineda City in A Coruña. The event included a roster introduction featuring players such as Dídac Cuevas, Dino Radoncic, and Jacobo Díaz, alongside fan activities and a freestyle basketball exhibition.

Following the presentation, the team played its first home game at the Coliseum in the Liga Endesa, securing a 104-101 overtime victory against Bilbao Basket. Coach Carles Marco highlighted the performance of the core group of players who transitioned with the club from the LEB league, including Dino Radoncic, Caio Pacheco, Dídac Cuevas, Jacobo Díaz, Guillem Jou, and Paul Jorgensen. The match was marked by injuries to Bilbao Basket players Tryggvi Hlinason, who required eight stitches after a head collision, Darrun Hilliard, and Bastien Vautier.

Following this victory, Leyma Coruña is preparing to host Casademont Zaragoza at the Coliseum. Coach Marco noted that the core group from the previous season is helping maintain the team's identity in the new category. Casademont Zaragoza enters the matchup following significant roster remodeling, led by Gonzalo García de Vitoria and featuring players such as Trae Bell-Haynes, Gabriel Olaseni, Roberts Blumbergs, and Caleb Homesley.
