The LG Twins are currently competing to maintain a high standing in the KBO League regular season. Early in October, the team faced a five-game losing streak, with management expressing concerns over batting consistency and opponents pitching around star hitter Austin Dean.

Following that period, the LG Twins secured a 4-3 extra-inning victory against the Lotte Giants. This win, driven by a 10th-inning RBI single from Song Chan-eui, helped the team remain within 0.5 games of the third-place KIA Tigers. During the same match, Lotte’s Victor Reyes set a new KBO League single-season record with 205 hits.
