LG has initiated the global distribution of the xboom Blast, a high-power portable party speaker engineered for outdoor environments. The device provides a maximum output of 220 W when connected to power and 210 W on battery. 

Technical features include a 99 Wh replaceable battery capable of up to 36 hours of playback, IP68 certification, and durability verified through seven military-standard tests. The audio hardware consists of two 5.25-inch neodymium woofers and two 20-mm tweeters from Peerless. Developed with sound tuning collaboration from producer will.i.am, the speaker incorporates AI-driven capabilities such as ‘AI Sound’ for real-time music analysis and ‘Space Calibration Pro’ to adjust audio to the environment. Connectivity is supported via Bluetooth, USB-C, and Auracast.

LG has expanded its audio offerings with the announcement of the LG xboom Power Series, which complements the Blast model. This series includes three models: the flagship Power 9000 with 440W output, the Power 7000 with 340W, and the Power 5000 with 260W. The Power Series features AI-driven tools such as ‘AI Karaoke Master’ for vocal removal and pitch adjustment, alongside ‘Multicolour AI Lighting’ and ‘Space Calibration Pro’ for room-based audio optimization.
