Sources: 10. Developments: 2. Formula 1 driver Liam Lawson performed a live musical set in Austin, Texas, during the United States Grand Prix weekend. The acoustic event, titled ‘Garage Sessions with Liam Lawson and Friends’, took place at Inn Cahoots on October 22. Performing alongside his brother, Marcus, and two childhood friends, Lawson used the session to showcase a musical passion that began at age six under his father’s encouragement. He described music as an essential way to “clear his head” and “decompress” during the racing season. The event was attended by several figures in the racing community, including former F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo, Arvid Lindblad, and Isack Hadjar. The performance also served as the launch for Lawson’s collaboration with Taylor Guitars. He debuted the LL30 GS Mini Special Edition, a limited-edition custom acoustic guitar featuring a pink-to-white gradient, his racing number 30 on the pickguard, and an engraving of a cartoon version of his helmet logo on the headstock. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-18: Liam Lawson to perform music and launch custom guitar at US Grand Prix Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson will perform musically at the US Grand Prix and launch a custom Taylor Guitars collaboration featuring his personal racing branding. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/liam-lawson-to-perform-music-and-launch-custom-guitar-at-us-grand-prix ### 2026-10-15: Liam Lawson to perform in Austin and eyes Race of Champions F1 driver Liam Lawson will perform a live musical set in Austin during the US Grand Prix weekend and has expressed interest in competing at the Race of Champions in New Zealand this January. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/liam-lawson-to-perform-live-music-in-austin-and-eyes-new-zealand-motorsport-event --- Cite as: Liam Lawson musical performances and guitar launch.
