Croatia is observing its 20th Lifelong Learning Week, a national campaign inspired by a UNESCO initiative to promote continuous education and skill acquisition.

Initial preparations and announcements highlighted regional activities, such as a Lifelong Learning Fair in Dubrovnik featuring the University of Dubrovnik and the Croatian Employment Service. Planned sessions included lectures on artificial intelligence in teaching and internet fraud prevention, alongside creative workshops in Poreč.

As the week progressed, various institutions implemented diverse programs. In Slatina, workshops focused on creativity and social connection, while sessions in Pitomača addressed employment through voucher applications. In Čakovec, the Public Open University hosted culinary workshops to demonstrate the practical application of theoretical knowledge in professional gastronomy.
