Challenges against López Aliaga and Allison were dismissed due to filing deadlines, while the challenge against Urresti was rejected following a Constitutional Court decision that annulled a previous prison sentence. 

Polling data from Datum International indicated that Rafael López Aliaga rose to 16% in voter intention following the resignation of Luis Rubio, placing him slightly ahead of Carlos Bruce, who held 13%.
