LINE Games has conducted playtests and released demos for two upcoming PC titles, ‘QUIET’ and ‘CODE EXIT’.

In mid-September 2026, the company concluded a Steam playtest for ‘QUIET’, a cooperative comedy horror game involving duck-shaped aliens. The testing phase, which ran from August 3 to September 14, involved approximately 350,000 participants from 148 countries. The company reported high engagement on streaming platforms, noting between 800 and 1,200 pieces of related video content, and received over 800 pieces of direct player feedback. A new official demo has since been released on Steam and the Epic Games Store, featuring one official stage and an arcade stage titled ‘Duck Out’. The title is slated for a global release in the first half of 2027.

Following this, LINE Games launched a Steam playtest for ‘CODE EXIT’, a cooperative sci-fi survival horror game developed by Phase 8 Studio, running from September 28 to October 19. Set in the city of Pantheon, players investigate a rogue AI named Minerva that can modify pursuit patterns based on player behavior. The test introduced a ‘Variable Styleset’ for terrain randomization, a respawn mechanic as a robot named ‘MiRO’, and a new enemy, the ‘Offline S. O. M. A’ robot. 

Following the playtest, a ‘Demo 2.0’ version of ‘CODE EXIT’ was released, incorporating player feedback through a new tutorial stage, keyboard customization, and UI improvements. Both titles are scheduled to participate in the Steam Scream Fest V from October 27 to November 3, 2026. ‘CODE EXIT’ is targeting an Early Access release in the first quarter of 2027.
